These terms govern the website and services of AJOLOTE AZUL GENOMICS, S.A.P.I. de C.V. By checking the acceptance box and proceeding to payment, you enter into a contract with Ajolote Azul.

2. Services and territory
The website offers nutrigenetic, pharmacogenetic, and sequencing tests in Mexico, together with reports, contextual interpretation, consultations, and other described services. Availability, sample type, laboratory, scope, and estimated turnaround depend on the product.
Analysis may be performed by Nutrigenomix and its network in Canada, the United States, and Ireland, or by Dante Labs in Italy and the United States, depending on the test.
3. Medical and clinical scope
Genetic results and contextual interpretation are informational and decision-support tools. They do not replace diagnosis, prescriptions, treatment, medical advice, or emergency care. Do not start, stop, or change medication or treatment without an authorized healthcare professional.
Usefulness and limitations depend on available evidence, reference populations, sample quality, and clinical context. A negative result does not eliminate all risk, and a risk result does not independently diagnose disease.
AJOLOTE AZUL GENOMICS, S.A.P.I. de C.V. has a COFEPRIS operating notice (procedure COFEPRIS-05-006, retail sale of medical devices), with intake number 2609055006E00007 and filing number 26-000114580. The notice confirms compliance with the operating-notification requirement; it does not replace product-specific authorizations, clinical laboratory permits, or constitute a COFEPRIS endorsement or certification of results or services. 4. Eligibility, patients, and minors
The purchaser must be an adult with legal capacity. If the buyer is not the patient, the buyer states that they have sufficient authority to provide the patient's data and coordinate the service.
For minors, a parent or legal guardian must complete the form, consent to sensitive-data processing, and sign the applicable Agreement before processing. We may reject or suspend a test if representation or consent cannot be verified.
5. Orders, prices, and payment
The product, currency, and total charge appear before payment. Consumer prices in Mexico include applicable Mexican VAT (IVA). Stripe processes card payments under its own terms. Orders are subject to payment confirmation and availability.
Prices may change for future purchases but not an already paid order. Any applicable tax or charge must be displayed before payment. Discounts and referral codes cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
6. Invoicing
We issue Mexican CFDI electronic invoices on request. Send the required tax information and order number to facturacion@testgenetico-ajoloteazul.com within the applicable tax period. The customer is responsible for accurate information.
7. Shipping, samples, and timing
Customers must provide a correct address and follow collection, identification, packaging, and return instructions. Published turnaround times are estimates beginning when the laboratory receives a valid sample and may change due to logistics, customs, recollection, or laboratory causes.
We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information, failure to follow instructions, carriers, authorities, or force majeure, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
8. Replacements, cancellations, and refunds
Because kits and analyses are personalized, we do not offer voluntary refunds. If the swab or envelope has a manufacturing defect, or the laboratory determines there is insufficient detectable DNA, we will evaluate and provide a free replacement where appropriate.
Request a replacement at devoluciones@testgenetico-ajoloteazul.com with the order number, description, and available evidence. Damage caused by misuse, contamination, loss, or failure to follow instructions is not covered.
Nothing in this section restricts any mandatory warranty, refund, compensation, or other non-waivable right under Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Law or other applicable law.
9. Intellectual property and acceptable use
The website, marks, text, designs, and materials belong to Ajolote Azul or its licensors. You may use your reports personally and share them with healthcare professionals. You may not disrupt the site, gain unauthorized access, distribute malware, impersonate others, or commercially exploit content without permission.
10. Privacy and genetic data
Processing is governed by the Comprehensive Privacy Notice. Purchase requires acceptance of the notice and express consent for sensitive data. We do not currently use genetic data for research or sell genetic databases.
11. Liability
We are responsible for our services under applicable law. We do not guarantee a particular medical outcome or that scientific evidence will remain unchanged. Exclusions or limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, or to non-waivable consumer rights.
12. Changes, law, and disputes
Changes apply to future purchases and will be published with their date. Mexican law governs these terms.
