Genomics with clear scope and clinical language

Ajolote Azul sells kits and coordinates genetic studies for your patients. This page summarizes how we operate in Mexico; it does not replace a commercial agreement or the performing laboratory’s documentation.

What Ajolote Azul does

  • Sale and logistics of collection devices and coordination of the ordered study.
  • Delivery of the laboratory report plus contextual interpretation and consultation depending on the product.
  • A contact channel for samples, timelines, and clinical documentation when applicable.

COFEPRIS

Health regulatory compliance in Mexico

  • Modality: retail sale of medical devices (procedure COFEPRIS-05-006).
  • Intake number: 2609055006E00007

This notice confirms operating notification with COFEPRIS. It does not replace product-specific authorizations, clinical laboratory permits, or certification of results or services.

Laboratories and accreditations

Testing is performed by contracted third-party laboratories depending on the product (e.g. nutrigenetics/pharmacogenetics or sequencing). Accreditations (CLIA, CAP, ISO 15189, or others) belong to the laboratory that processes each study. We will publish details per product once verified documentation is available; until then, see our privacy notice or request a technical sheet from our team.

Oncology and clinical tests

Tumor and clinical sequencing tests require coordination with the treating team. Results are supportive; they do not replace diagnosis, pathology, or treatment decisions. We avoid promising survival rates or other clinical outcomes in advertising.

Referrals and prescribers

The referral program is intended for patients and consumers (family, friends). It is not a per-patient payment scheme for healthcare professionals. For institutional or clinic agreements, contact us directly.
